Brookmans Electrical Wholesalers was formed in November 2006 by father and son team Tim Brooks and Darran Brooks. Darran brought his wealth of electrical knowledge to the table having previously worked with a large national wholesaler for 10 years, and Tim brought his sharp business mind and leadership experience. The duo's first branch was opened in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf on 5th March 2007. The beginnings were humble, as many great beginnings are. They started with a small unit with limited stock and a small van. Darran and Tim persevered and dedicated all of their efforts in becoming the best electrical wholesalers with customer service second to none, working around the clock to serve those who needed equipment by certain deadlines. 2 years after opening, they moved to a larger unit and the team doubled in size, as well as stock continuing to increase and more trade accounts opening every month. With higher demands, in 2012 Brookmans Electrical Wholesalers moved to the prime location in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf, where it is still situated today. This unit is easy to access and park by, and allows for a huge supply of stock items. In the pursuit of expansion and serving the public and tradespeople, in 2019 Brookmans opened their second branch in Abercanaid, Merthyr Tydfil. As of today, Brookmans has 8 members of staff, 3 vans, and continues to offer unrivalled service to their customers.
